As an unconventional director, I wear two hats: documentary filmmaker and live program creator.

True to the themes of my early career, I focus on underground cultures and those overlooked by mainstream media, capturing stories from around the world.

My passion for both form and content is inseparable, fueled by a relentless exploration of writing techniques and advancements in capture and broadcast technologies.

Occasionally, I tackle more conventional themes, always with my unique approach.

 

It has felt natural for me at times to take on the role of Director of Photography for my own films, especially when they required a certain intimacy with the subject. Through this, I have also discovered a genuine desire to develop my work as a Director of Photography, collaborating in service of other directors’ visions.

I remain constantly fascinated by the art of visual storytelling and the endless possibilities in crafting imagery that brings narratives to life.

 

To return to my roots, I regularly work on photographic series that explore less visible worlds.
